Hello! Today was 3-on-3 polo competition, :D
AND... WE GIRLS GOT FIRST! :D :D :D
First game was at 9.15am. There were seven teams in the junior women's category. And for the first round we had to play against each of them. So through the six matches we managed to have a draw, win, lose, win, lose, lose. And to get to the next round we had to be at least at the fifth position. And, omg, we just nice get fifth position. Then we had late lunch/ dinner break from 4-7pm.
Then when we came back to NTU we played the second round which was like 5th vs 4th and winner goes on to vs the 3rd and then winner goes on again to vs the 2nd and then to finals. HEH. We played against the 4th and won, :D Had to do a golden goal cause we had a draw, :D Then moved on to play with the 3rd placing team and won, :D Then moved on to play against the 2nd placing team and won, :D Did another golden goal, :D And omg we made it the finals!! And it was so amazing cause we really had to go play more games than any of the teams, to climb through the placings. And so for finals, WE WON :D 7-3. Heh. So happy. Classic underdog story.
I'm so proud of my girls, :D It was so unexpected and we beat our own expectations. And the support was awesome! All the shit gym training paid off and all the damn it long practice games with the boys, seniors and alumni totally worth it. And I'm so thankful for our awesome 'coach' Hanlong and mentor Xiaohuang (??) + Jackson. And the senior girls giving advice continuously.
I think we had great competitors, really quite strong. NP, NUS, NUS HIGH. They are really good teams. I hit so many people today, hopefully I didn't hurt anyone. And I shouted quite a lot at the girls during the game. I really do have quite a short temper during the game, I am so sorry if I was too fierce.. The boys didn't do too bad either! I think they got 3rd?
Okay, that's all. I am really tired, :(
