Yesterday was Sprint IVP.
And congrats to achieving Men's Champs for the 3rd year in a row! :D
And I guess since pretty much of the junior girls are going to sprint there is still hope for achieving Women's Champ next year.
I'm not so sad or upset anymore that they do not want to join polo.
You can't force passion for a sport.
Just hoping that we would at least have one or two at polo to continue teaching the future batches.

Anyway, I spoke to coach yesterday.
Asked him if he thinks that there is still hope for me to train up and master k boat.
And he said that there is always hope if I'm able to dedicate my time.
He said since I am strong all I need is to work on my technique.
Heh heh. Coach is so cute.

Guess it was good for the skinny ones since it was so cold and windy.

We saw puppies. Being sold in boxes by the the streets, in pet shops.
Many toy poodle breed dogs.

There were three different pasta bars at our hotel area in Taipei and the dog was always where we went. So cute and obedient.

We saw many many strays, but still cute!

Oh how we regret those things we do,

Hate work on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Cause I know I am missing pool slot........
Wanna be in the pool so badly.

I remember last year when I was so damn sad and broken because of a certain relationships ending,
All I wanted to do was train so much until my body and mind broke down.
But instead, training made me strong and my mind became focused.
But every now and then there was this period when everything slowed down
My feelings would catch up with me and I can't breathe.
Now I just want to run again, train like crazy and break myself.

Sometimes work is quite fun.
Fighting with other people through the phone regarding their bills..
I think I'm born to fight. I am highly stubborn but adaptable.
And I have a hell lot of pride.
Especially for the people I love, for the things I have passion for.
Especially canoeing. I hate it when I do not perform.
Hate it when I'm not improving as fast as I want to.
It upsets me when others are not putting in as much effort to improve or at least do their best.
And I have a lot of pride in my team (Boys and Girls for both sides), because I simply believe we are the best.

I've given up on many things.

It's available in so many many colours ok.

I'd probably still get the classic black.

Today was honestly such a fun day.

It rained freaking hard today and we had to stop for awhile.

I don't know if today is a good day or bad day?
Worked sucked as usual..
And I like suddenly grew a pimple right at the tip of my nose, X_X
After work I was suppose to run with Theresa
But her boss held her back and I didn't run in the end, :(
I went to find the team, and found out that only me and Ruiyi went for training.
I didn't even get to see Ruiyi cause she left earlier.
I was thinking that I should go training since I haven't seen Espada and have been eating my days away in the office,
BUT NOO, noone was there except the boyz.
I gymed with Yeehwee and we had the whole upper gym to ourselves, :D
Good thing Theresa came to find me for dinner, if not I would have been like seriously lonely.

But today feels like an awfully good day, in a way.
Feels like my heart restarted.
And yet, I am so cautious cause I tend to be too hopeful.
But being hopeful isn't really a bad thing until your hopes gets crushed.
I can't deny that some things will always make me happy
But admitting it scares me.

One of my favourite books would be Dear John.
I love reading it and can't stand it at the same time.
It's so sad and heartwrenching.
I hate it when two people who love each other don't end up together.
It's just not right.
I read it over and over again, because secretly I'm hoping the ending would change.

Speaking of things I miss.
Today I was thinking of, things. I always end up thinking of things when my birthday passes.
Was recalling everything that have happened these few years.

But thing is, without all the things, the people I lost, especially just someone.
I won't be the person I am today.
I'm sorry I wasn't a good person when you knew me back then.
Honestly, I don't think I'll ever get over this.
But I've learnt to accept it. Yet, I'd still give anything to go back.

Fell sick on Saturday due to the changing weather.

I fall sick very easily, :(
I am down with a cold right now, no not swine flu, :/

Last Thurs we ran to Bukit Timah Hill from Dover

It's really sad to see all your teammates running so fast and you lagging behind all the time.

Espada:
You know, I really really want to win, achieve something for IVP so very badly that it kills me to think otherwise.
And ever since I joined canoe all I wanted to do was make an impact.
I'm not the most positive person, but I've always had hope in all of us.
I'm the kind that doesn't care who we play against, cause what matters is how you played, how much you put in.
Lately there has been this increasing stress within everyone.
It's eating up everyone from the inside and I can feel the initial spirits we had being overshadowed by something else.

My mum bought a hdb flat at Marine Parade, which is three bus stops away from my current house.
We're moving there in December, but we're keeping the current house as well, :S
So we have two houses, HAHAHAHA.
Am happy, cause it means I can still come swim and play here.
And we're gonna finally have a bigger place to live in.

Cause MST hold lesser percentage than end of semester exams.

Honestly I really want to just train hard and give my best.
But lately for polo I haven't been playing well, personal skills are improving like I can finally do a proper Bow Turn, whoohoo.
But my game play is like shit, my everything else is like shit.
My zoning is going down the drain and my shooting during the game can eat shit.
I guess I won't be so disappointed with myself if I didn't know that I could do better than this.
It's not like I'm not trying, I just don't know what's wrong.

As for sprint, I haven't gone rowing in a week, :(
And won't be going till after MST.
As confident as I am with my T1, I'm still damn scared to compete because I know it will kill me to not win T1 having come so close last year.
I told myself last year that I will come back stronger and win T1 for the girls this year.

Oh my god, I am ranting.
The truth is, I am afraid to feel the pain of losing a game, a race, a person.
But I would rather live with the pain than regret not trying.

But it's so scary, I wonder if the girls are scared too..

Pool slot today was so useless..
Cause it was junior's pool slot so we had to like take care of them and teach them stuff.

Here's something to look at..

It sleeps/eats/shit on me.

My face is very red now because I've been under the sun for two days. Yesterday was so tiring, :( Polo in the morning then immediately followed the juniors to go for sprint at Mac. So we were like all under the sun the whole freaking day. And I don't know how the senior girls could like handle double training last time. We did sprints at mac in k boats. And yesterday was the first time I rowed k since like January?? And I could still balance but capped many many times trying to sprint and go faster. And it was so tiring to cap and get back on the boat and then empty the boat and then sprint and then cap all over again. But it felt good, you know? Feels so good rowing at mac again.

Today I managed to wake up and head back down to mac to row k2 with shir! I am so sorry that we cannot really row very well. But at least we didn't cap, and there were some good sets we did. I promise to improve on my balance and rotation ok?

Okay, must go prepare for RWP and study for tests.

I've never felt so motivated to study and ultimately train at the same time.

So for now, RWP and common tests next week is at a higher priority.

I did not go to school today. I woke up wanting to go and all, but I was too dizzy. And I ended up sleeping the whole afternoon?? And when I woke up I immediately just did my research, :O I should sleep more. Wonder how was training today. Wonder how's shir's doing after yesterday's gym.. I'm still aching like crazy after sleeping so much. The forearm exercise was a real killer, 50, 75, 100.

I give up on restaurant city, stupid addictive game.

My mum is giving me money to cab to school on Saturdays if she can't send me.

First water training for juniors. We couldn't go down to Mac today so it was polo the whole day. There's still like too many people, :S Training was, quite, ugh. I feel like shit cause I feel like I'm not performing at all. Like I'm back to year one with my basics all messed up. Don't know, am frustrated with myself, :( Only three months left to IVP. I want to give everything I have to this sport, to my team. Although I know I want to, I ask myself what is everything I have? I really want to win and make a difference for SP Girls team.

I'm honestly not very strong. But I feel stronger when I'm angry. That's why I submerge myself in anger to get through times that could break me.

Other than that. I need to like seriously study. And finish up all my work, :(

I liked my group of all guys. They were all very daring and could get along with each other. They tried their best in every game we played even though we had the least number of people. And I feel quite sad for them that they had me as their GL cause I am not one to be enthusiastic and I don't know how to be all nice and friendly to people I just met.. But I liked them very much. Very pleasant people to be with throughout the camp. Benny disappeared on the second day cause he fell sick and had throat infection. Thank god my group was highly independent.

I am really happy that the cca showcase is like over. Cause I don't like talking to people I don't know and having to be patient and polite. But it was quite fun to look at all the people who signed up and enquired about canoe. Honestly putting me there to be a representative of the girls is really quite funny cause when the freshmen asks are there any girls in the team my fellow boys hesitate to point at me.

Anyway, first training is on Thursday. Can't wait actually, hoping for a good turn out for the girls. There's always too many boys at the start. I remember going for the first training last year and never looking back since. Sometimes I wonder why I stuck through, but I'm glad I did.

Can't wait for camp on Friday, but am sorry for the boys who will be in my group hoping for a pretty girl senior to be their group leader. Instead they'll have the two people who have the most white spots on their arms.

4S2 pool date.

This was on labour day. I met Morgan earlier and we window shopped! And unfortunately I found many things I would like to buy but no, since I spent so much money on a paddle recently I refuse to like spend anymore money on other things except food, :D Played a few rounds of pool and talked, then left with mormor to go eat. Mormor lives so near me, I'm gonna visit her and her dog.

Today the school gate was so crowded at like 5pm.. Cause they narrowed the pathway to do temperature screening on everyone. I hate 8am and 5pm at Dover. It's like really very crowded. The best way to get flu. And I'm really scared that of getting sick now, :( Joanne came over to my tiny tiny house today to be a pig with me. We bought back kfc and ate cocoa frosties, which is the best! I can just live on it okay. And we watched some movies. We are pros in being sloths.

Felt really useless being on land and was itching to like get in the water. But cannot, :( I want to recover fully. And since I feel like I'm dropping more and more each day, I am now so determined to self train when I recover. And since I am like gaining weight, o.3kg ley, I cannot wait to start training again.

Three people asked me about canoeing/canoe polo today. And all of them thought that polo and sprint was a different cca. Which made me feel very upset. Cause I like the fact that we are like one big family. I shall like start going down for sprint morning rows soon. I want to be able to row in a K boat for IVP even though I do love rowing T1 boat, feels less stressful.

So, no training for me today. Feels so odd going to the oh so very crowded mrt station at 5pm and not preparing to go for a run. And I feel so fat since I have been eating a lot these days and am unable to burn it all off, :/ I shall stop eating. Ha.

I don't think I've put up this photo before. Here's the other fatty who is unable to train. Haha. Actually right, you look kinda nice here even with you brace face and hamster cheeks, :P And your hair also not bad, unlike the period of time where you had bangs.... Okay, sorry, I am anti-bangs. Okay, I'm just like quite bored.

I want to shop. My mum just gave me ten $50 notes.. To pay for my paddle..... But I am so tempted to just run out and shop my heart out, :(

Anyway, I realised I didn't pull just one side of my abdomen. It's like both sides. But the pain is subsiding. So yay! Means that I'm getting better. Hopefully I'll be back in the pool by next sat! I so so so so want to play polo and gym already.
